Friends of the Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports the goals and mission of Cornwall Public Library through fundraising and advocacy. The support of the Friends allows the Library to offer programs and materials that would otherwise not be possible.
In addition to membership dues, the Friends fundraise through the Friends' Book Store located within the library
building.
HOURS: Mon 7-8PM; Tues 3-5:30PM; Wed 10:30AM-12:30PM;
Thur 3:30-5:30PM; Fri 3-4:30PM; Sat 10:30AM-12:30PM
In addition to selling donated books, the Friends have an array of unique items suitable for gift giving. At the bookstore you will find four books on local history, two of which the Friends published: Cornwall, Images of the Past by Janet Dempsey, Colette Fulton and James O'Neill; and Cornwall Revisited by Janet Dempsey. The Friends also have published historic note cards, postcards and bookplates.
Membership in the Friends of the Library is $5.00 annually.
