The vote for the library budget will be held on April 18, 2017 from 9:00am-9:00pm in the library community room.
Eligibility to vote:
- Registered to vote, either in the general election or locally registered with the library/school district
- Resident of the Cornwall Central School District for 30 days prior to the vote
- 18 years of age or older
- A U.S. citizen
To register to vote locally, please register at the library at least 5 days prior to the vote Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Absentee ballot information
To request an absentee ballot, fill out an Application for Absentee Ballot form and mail it to the library: Cornwall Public Library, 395 Hudson Street, Cornwall, NY 12518; or drop it off at the library.
The ballot will be mailed to those who file an application as soon as the ballots are available. If the ballot is to be mailed to you and/or mailed back to the library, the application must be received by the library by 5:00pm on April 10, 2017. If the ballot is to be hand-delivered and not mailed to you or back to the library, the application and ballot must be received by 8:00pm on April 17, 2017.
