December Book Pick: Endling by Maria Reva 

Endling by Maria Reva is a novel about three Ukrainian women who become entangled through the country’s romance tour industry, which caters to foreign men seeking wives. The story follows a reclusive biologist named Yeva, who funds her snail conservation work by posing as a potential bride, and two sisters, Nastia and Solomiya, who are looking for their missing activist mother. Together, they plan a kidnapping to expose the industry, but their plan is derailed by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
