Synopsis: Die Fledermaus is Johann Strauss II’s famous operetta about mistaken identities, romance, and revelry on New Year’s Eve, masterminded by the wily Dr. Falke as revenge on his friend Eisenstein for a past humiliation, leading to Eisenstein unknowingly flirting with his own disguised wife, Rosalinde, at a grand ball, all fueled by champagne and culminating in hilarious chaos at the jail where everyone’s secrets come out, ending in forgiveness and celebration.
