Synopsis: “The Marriage of Figaro” is a four-act opera buffa (comic opera) by Mozart, with a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It premiered in Vienna in 1786. The story revolves around Figaro and Susanna, servants of Count and Countess Almaviva, who are preparing for their wedding. The Count, however, is pursuing Susanna, and Figaro must outwit him to ensure his wedding goes smoothly, while also dealing with other characters like Marcellina, who has a claim on Figaro, and the young page Cherubino, who is infatuated with the Countess.
