2024 Annual Timothy Mumford Poetry Contest Winners!

On Sunday, April 28th, the library was pleased to host the 2024 Timothy Mumford Memorial Poetry Competition Awards Ceremony.  Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Mumford family for their continued generous support of the library in memory of their son, a former Library Page who was a creative poet and talented musician and composer.

Our judge, Orange County Poet Laureate, Joel Solonche beautifully executed the monumental task of choosing the top poems for each category. We cannot thank him enough for his commitment to this important work. This year, Over 70 original poems were submitted to the competition for consideration. We continue to marvel at the creativity we see in their inspiring submissions and look forward to what the future holds for each of these imaginative souls. Well done and thank you to all!
