Join us in partnership with Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall for a virtual seminar on the COVID-19 Vaccine. Join Dan Maughan, MSLC President and Chief Operating Officer, and Dr. Evan Cohen, Medical Director of Emergency Services for a discussion on the vaccine, its efficacy, and how together, we can eliminate COVID-19.

Dan Maughan, RN, BSN, MBA, MSN, FNP-C

President & Chief Operating Officer

Dan Maughan, President & Chief Operating Officer at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall, brings over 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to MSLC. He has been instrumental in MSLC’s transformation in recent years. Most recently, Mr. Maughan has been leading the charge on MSLC’s COVID-19 vaccination program. In just three weeks, MSLC has vaccinated over 2,000 individuals including employees and eligible frontline workers. Additionally, Dan was instrumental in the securement of funding for expansion on both the Newburgh and Cornwall campus from the New York State Department of Health as part of the Statewide Healthcare Facility Transformation Program. On the Newburgh campus, the MRI Suite and Emergency Department renovation project was completed late last year, and in the coming weeks, MSLC will soon be opening a 10 bed observation unit. An Expanded Primary Care site is set to open in the days ahead on the Cornwall campus, adding to the list of multispecialty practices already offered at MSLC’s outpatient campus.

Dr. Evan Cohen

Medical Director & Chairman of Emergency Services

Dr. Evan Cohen, Medical Director & Chairman of Emergency Services at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall, is an emergency medicine physician serving the NYC area. Dr. Cohen is Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He received his Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Syracuse University in 2003 and graduated from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University in 2007. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey in 2010 and has been in practice for 12 years.
