The program (A Semester in One Evening!) will explore the international law applicable to cyber operations, with a particular focus on current challenges to our national security and the types of attacks to which we may respond legally in the cyber realm. The lecture covers national sovereignty, attribution of attacks and interference with the democratic and economic workings of our nation. A Q&A will follow the presentation. Professor Rob Barnsby is the Cyber Law Fellow for the Army Cyber Institute at West Point, where he teaches Cyber and Constitutional Law. In 20 years of service, he has spoken at a wide variety of legal and cybersecurity-related events throughout the world.
