July Virtual Book Discussion for Parents
    July 17, 2020
    8:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Our virtual parenting book discussion group seeks to provide parents a sense of community and support as we raise our children through difficult and unprecedented times.

The third discussion group shifts our focus to having difficult conversations about race. As parents, it is particularly important right now to reflect on how best to discuss race with our children. Iljeoma Oluo’s So You Want to Talk About Race offers a thoughtful exploration of how race shapes our society as well as actionable tools for addressing issues that keep us divided.

Although this group is intended to serve parents, our discussions are open to everyone! Please read with an open mind and come ready to share your thoughts.

Here’s what you need to do to join:

Get the free digital book from hoopla or Libby using your library card, register for the discussion here, and on the date, join us for a virtual book discussion!

Zoom meeting invites will be emailed to registrants prior to the meeting.
