Join us for a brand-new virtual book discussion group for parents who are looking to find a sense of community and support as we face unprecedented time alone at home with our children.

Many parents are reaching a breaking point after having been unexpectedly thrown into home-based education. We are struggling to balance work-from-home demands with meeting our family’s basic needs, keeping up with housework, and managing our own stress levels. What we are being asked to do is not just overwhelming – it’s not possible within the existing framework.

Together, we can shift the paradigm of education as we know it and find a way to restore wonder in the lives of our children. Ainsley Arment’s The Call of the Wild and Free: Reclaiming Wonder in Your Child’s Education will help you think outside the box of traditional education and give you the encouragement you need to nurture your child’s sense of curiosity and joy at home, even in the midst of these most challenging times.

Read with an open mind and come ready to share your thoughts with a small group of parents who are in the “trenches” with you.

Here’s what you need to do to join:

Get the free digital book from hoopla using your library card, register for the discussion here, and on the date, join us for a virtual book discussion!

Zoom meeting invites will be emailed to registrants prior to the meeting.
